Biography

With over 20 years in the music industry as a recording and mix engineer, Chris has worked on more than 40 UK chart singles and albums.
 
Chris started his career at Utopia Studios, London in 1987, before moving to the world famous Abbey Road Studios where he remained for 10 years, progressing to Senior Engineer.
 
He has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, most notably Radiohead, Muse and The Beatles’ Anthology project with Sir George Martin.
 
As well as rock and pop music, Chris has a wealth of experience recording orchestras and film soundtracks. Composers include Michael Nyman, James Horner and Jerry Goldsmith. He has recorded all the major London and several international orchestras, and has engineered many string overdub sessions, including Massive Attack, Blur and No 1 singles for Eternal and The Spice Girls.
 
Chris left Abbey Road in 1997 to work freelance as a producer and engineer and composer.
 
He recently launched a music production company, providing original music for advertising and media.
